University Of North Alabama Students To Present At National Conference On Undergraduate Research

FLORENCE, Ala.- Seven University of North Alabama undergraduate students have been chosen to present academic research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) at Kennesaw State University, April 11-12, 2019.
NCUR describes itself as the world's largest symposium for undergraduate research, featuring presentations from all academic fields and disciplines. UNA students were selected from more than 4,000 entries in this year's competitive process.
The following students are scheduled to present their work:
Mackenzie Cottles, College of Arts and Sciences
Trey Gilliland, College of Arts and Sciences
Dylan McKelvey, College of Arts and Sciences
Taylor Moore, College of Business
Chandler Mordecai, College of Arts and Sciences
Jennifer Olszyna, College of Arts and Sciences
Jada Sheehy, College of Arts and Sciences
"Our students will be presenting their work in front of a national audience, and this is an important opportunity to highlight the excellent undergraduate research being conducted on campus," said Dr. Andrea Hunt, director of the Center for Student Research. "I'm pleased the University is funding their travel so our students can have these experiences and network with other scholars."
